Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is increasing parking rates, with the new rates going into effect on May 1, 2025. The increase will affect both hourly and daily parking rates across all lots. Some lots will see their rates nearly triple. For example, South/North Hourly Decks will increase from $3 per hour, $36 max to $10 per hour, $50 max on Day 1, and $75 daily thereafter.
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the changes:
South/North Hourly Decks: $10 per hour with a $50 maximum on Day 1, increasing to a $75 daily rate thereafter (up from $3 per hour, $36 max).
International Hourly Deck: $10 for the first hour, $15 per hour thereafter, up to a $70 maximum on Day 1, increasing to a $100 daily rate thereafter (up from $3 per hour, $36 max).
South/North Daily Decks: $30 a day (up from $19).
South/North Economy Lots: $20 a day (up from $14).
ATL West Deck: $10 per hour with a $30 per day maximum (up from $3 per hour and a $16 a day maximum).
ATL Select Lots: Uncovered: $15 a day, Covered: $20 a day, Oversized: $40 a day (up from $10, $14, and $28, respectively).
Domestic Park-Ride Lot: $15 a day (up from $10 a day).
International Park-Ride Lot: $30 a day (up from $14 a day).
The airport officials cite rising operational costs and new debt for constructing and modernizing parking infrastructure as the reason for the increase. They also state that the new rates will help them invest in infrastructure that supports the customer experience.
